New roof in Stockholm

A new roof was installed in Stockholm by Älvsjö Tak, certified roofing specialists. In this project, we replaced the drainage system, including gutters with hangers and drip edges, downpipes, and all associated details. Sheet metal flashings on the extension were made with double-locked seams according to the latest AMA regulations, using 0.6 mm Plannja sheet metal in tile red color. New chimney flashings were installed with under-flashings and seals between the masonry and metal. New roof safety equipment, new wind boards with gable flashings, and new pipe flashings were also installed. All sheet metal details were manufactured in our own sheet metal workshop by our skilled craftsmen. We laid new Vittinge T11 clay tiles—two-piece tiles—with Icopal Flexisteel underlay felt as the base.
