New 22x120 mm roof sheathing was installed and nailed with 2.8x70 mm nails into each rafter, with the underside painted three times, including two coats of covering paint. A new Icopal Yap 2200 self-adhesive underlayment was applied. New counter battens and battens measuring 25x38 mm were mounted, with spacing according to industry standards, which is very important. A 45x95 mm ridge beam was installed, with ridge tape mounted on it and a bird stop attached to the supporting batten at the eaves. New Monier Elegant concrete tiles in black matte finish were laid. The drainage system was updated with new 125 mm gutters and 90 mm downpipes, and a new drip edge was fabricated and installed. New wooden fascia boards were painted three times, along with black metal flashings.
