The existing roof, covering 300 square meters, was removed and thoroughly inspected. New Icopal Pro underlayment was installed. New counter battens and battens measuring 25x38 mm were mounted, with batten spacing following industry standards, which is very important. A ridge beam of 45x95 mm was installed, with ridge tape mounted on it and a bird stop fitted on the supporting batten at the eaves. New Monier Elegant concrete tiles in brick red color were laid. A new Plannja drainage system with 150 mm gutters and 100 mm downpipes was installed, along with a newly fabricated and mounted drip edge. New wooden fascia boards were painted three times, and new gable flashings were fitted. New roof safety equipment with related details was installed in accordance with Boverket’s building regulations. Our sheet metal workers manufactured and installed metal flashings on all roof penetrations. The project took 26 working days to complete. The final inspection was approved without any remarks.
