Roofing Hässelby

The existing 120 sqm roof was removed down to the rafters, which were thoroughly inspected. New 22x120 mm roof sheathing was installed and nailed with 2.8x70 mm nails into each rafter. The underside was painted three times, including two coats of covering paint. A new Icopal Yap 2200 self-adhesive underlayment was applied. New counter battens and battens measuring 28x45 mm were mounted with spacing according to industry standards, which is very important. A 45x95 mm ridge beam was installed, with ridge tape mounted on it and a bird stop attached to the supporting batten at the eaves. A new Plannja Royal metal roof was installed. The drainage system was upgraded with new 125 mm gutters and 90 mm downpipes, along with a newly fabricated and mounted drip edge. The entire project took 12 days to complete, and the cost for the roof renovation was 165,000 SEK after ROT tax deduction.
