Existing roof tiles and battens were removed. New underlay felt, Icopal YAP 2200, was installed. New counter battens and roof battens were mounted according to industry standards. New gutters and downspouts were installed along with drip edges. New 2-cup Monier Elegant concrete roof tiles were nailed in two rows along the eaves, gables, and ridge. New ridge tiles were installed and nailed. New metal fascia boards were fitted together with new wooden fascia boards. A new roof ladder with slip protection was installed on the back of the house. Ridge tape and bird protection strips were also installed. The chimney was rebuilt and covered with metal flashing.
